Every person who walks through my door brings their own story, and I believe therapy works best when it reflects that. Rather than fitting you into a fixed program, I draw on a range of approaches and adapt as we go.
Schema Therapy holds a special place in my work. It explores the unhelpful core beliefs that often develop early in life and shape how you relate to yourself and others — looking at where these beliefs come from, and helping you develop healthier ways of coping and shift patterns that may still be affecting your life today. It can also help you meet important emotional needs that may not have been met when you were younger. The aim isn't just to change thoughts, but to create deeper emotional change too.
